Integrated teaming helps manage client’s complex scopes and phases.

Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) had outgrown their existing facilities when they hired Haskell to provide a complete solution to their needs. JMC's goals for the project were common to many hospitals: expand capacity, upgrade equipment, add new services and update infrastructure. Haskell resolved a variety of challenges prior to breaking ground on the initial pavilion addition, including strategic decisions like weighing the benefits of renovation versus expansion, and project phasing in a working clinical environment.

Evidence-based design drives new addition.

Increased quality care has led many of the design decisions in Jupiter Medical Center’s new tower. Rooms are designed same-handed to reduce the likelihood of medical errors. A central support core helps distribute support spaces which increases efficiency and reduces acoustic distractions for patients. The new kitchen will allow patients hospital-wide to order food on-demand, a key feature contributing to patient satisfaction.

One project constant: Haskell.

No project ever proceeds completely as expected. Amidst a project that has tested both client and design staff with the need to be flexible to change, Haskell has always been there providing project stability.
