Haskell is increasing its investment in Miami with the opening of a new, larger office to support rapid growth.
South Florida's economy is one of the largest economies in the world with a Gross Regional Product of $344 billion+. While this recent statistic is impressive, Haskell has been committed to the region since its early days – more than 50 years. The first project in Miami was completed in 1971 and the company has served as a trusted partner on more than 70 projects in the area since. The expansion to a larger space in Midtown further demonstrates the importance of this vibrant, growing community.
Strategic clients include PortMiami, Norwegian Cruise Line, Miami-Dade County, Dade County Public Schools, FlightSafety International, Florida Department of Corrections, Frito-Lay, Nabisco, U.S. Navy, University of Miami and Miami Dade College.
One primary objective is to strengthen relationships with the subcontractor and supplier community to drive revenue back into the local economy and support small businesses as they emerge and grow. Another is to tap into the immense talent pool to continue to build a culturally diverse workforce – all to better serve clients.
“This expansion reaffirms Haskell’s commitment to meeting the needs of our clients and delivering exemplary service, which is central to everything we do,” said Peter Kinsley, Infrastructure & Transportation Group President. “It also provides a unique opportunity to grow our team from the abundant talent and expertise that exists in the region. By focusing on our clients and our team, our purpose of creating things that matter will be achieved.”
With access to three international airports, award-winning educational facilities, a thriving population, the largest passenger port in the world and one of the largest cargo ports in the US, a strong presence in Miami creates opportunities in maritime, aviation, education, municipal, water and healthcare markets.
"The maritime industry is a driver of the global economy. Tourism and supply chain logistics are a part of our everyday lives,” said Ed Curry, Market Leader of Haskell’s Maritime Division. “As the industry recovers post-covid, Haskell is positioned to contribute to its success by better delivering large, complex projects for our customers with a certainty of outcome unmatched by our peers.”
