As the number and scale of its Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) projects expand, Haskell is seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers to provide high-level leadership on projects out of its Jacksonville, Florida, and Dallas, Texas, Regional Operations Centers.

Haskell is on track to fulfill a goal of doubling its CPG mechanical team to 15 or more engineers, and Matt Ford, Chief Mechanical Engineer, said he’s looking for a seasoned professional with management experience and drive.

“With our rate of expansion, we need senior leaders who can run projects,” Ford said. “We have a great team of young engineers, but we need that headship to mentor and see the whole project and think strategically.”

The Senior Engineer - Mechanical position requires an accredited engineering degree and, typically, eight years of experience after earning licensure as a Professional Engineer. The successful candidates will be responsible for assigned projects, including engineering, design, coordination, client communications and associated construction administration.

CPG is the largest of Haskell’s four delivery groups and supports core markets throughout the United States, as well as Mexico and the Asia Pacific Region, providing construction, architecture, and engineering for more than 55 years in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Products and Beer, Wine and Spirits markets. The size and scope of its projects continue to grow as it takes on more megaprojects, defined as those of $200 million or more.

Ranked No. 1 among Food & Beverage Contractors by ENR in 2020, Haskell is a design-build pioneer that works closely with many Fortune 500 companies to provide integrated project delivery. Its teams thrive on collaboration among all stakeholders and are a melting pot of industry-leading experts and knowledgeable team members who run the gamut of architectural and engineering disciplines, including process, packaging and material handling expertise.

“This needs to be someone with a strong background in Food & Beverage and clean design,” Ford said. “Experience with utilities would be a plus, but the clean-design aspect is most important. We need someone who has experience leading teams with the potential to grow into a group management.”

As an employee-owned company with an ownership culture, Haskell team members work to benefit clients and each other, guided by the core values of Team, Excellence Service and Trust. Strategically, Haskell operates with the direction of six strategic pillars, the first of which is to “Provide Team Members the BEST Job of Their Lives,” manifests in a robust benefits package that includes a 401k match and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which creates stock ownership for every full-time team member.
