What We Do

Design Manufacture Install

Simply put, we lead the industry in modular construction.

Haskell leads the industry in Design Manufacture Install (DMI) project delivery, drawing on its large cross-disciplinary design team, extensive experience in manufacturing settings and ability to self-perform a wide range of construction trades. DMI delivery maximizes efficiency by creating replicable modular building components in a controlled manufacturing setting, then shipping them intact to a job site where they are installed and completed similarly to a traditionally (or conventionally) constructed building. On-site, a reduced crew size and shorter schedule produce numerous benefits, including added safety, efficiency, and improved sustainability.

High-level design produces tighter tolerances and faster installation.

Haskell designers have developed the intense Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Fire and Metal Wall Framing BIM detailing knowledge necessary to produce shop drawings with a level of design (LOD) double what is produced for conventional construction. This ability allows the team to create the work instructions necessary for manufacturing. With this detailing ability and the processes developed by the quality team, the off-site tolerances are tighter and more exact, allowing finishes to be installed at the facility and reducing the time for field installation.

Our modular manufacturing facility is unique in quality and production.

We designed and commissioned our own Volumetric Modular Manufacturing facility in Culiacán, Mexico, and began production in February 2024. The facility encompasses 255,000 square feet, with an additional 100,000-square-foot outdoor staging patio, and employs 600 people on site. It is one of the most productive modular manufacturers in North America and one of the few using structural steel with metal wall framing, which is more rigid than wood framing and allows it to travel by ship and with more finishes installed.

The modular component supercharges integrated delivery’s many advantages.

As always, Haskell is built to assume responsibility for facility design, manufacture, installation and commissioning. Risk mitigation, shortened delivery schedules and cost reduction are only accelerated through DMI. Our global scale and growing team of trades specializing in exacting construction, including high-end finish trades, millwork, drywall, stone, interiors and field installation, create unmatched value.
