We deliver impeccably executed civil infrastructure projects.
Much of America’s infrastructure was built decades ago. Many roads, bridges, water treatment plants, dams, airfields and water systems are deteriorating and reaching the end of their design life. Earnest and widespread infrastructure rehabilitation is essential to maintaining the reliability of our systems and our quality of life.
Our team takes you from planning to wheels on the ground.
Successful civil infrastructure means knowing how to manage the planning, engineering and construction of a project; whether a bridge, highway, port facility, reinforced concrete box (RCB) structure, retaining or sound wall, or another project. We help you navigate the funding, regulatory and program-management challenges of your project with confidence and certainty.

We have extensive experience in water-related engineering studies including risk management, vulnerability, feasibility, treatability, distribution system modeling and regulatory compliance; conventional/advanced water treatment design, residuals handling, emergency power, telemetry/SCADA; transmission related systems such as raw water intake structures, pump stations, transmission lines and distribution systems including water lines, pump stations, storage tanks, standpipes, towers and corrosion control.
Airfields & Aviation Infrastructure
Airfield experience includes designs for planning, feasibility, new construction, repair and renovation work on runways, airfields, pavements, parking aprons, taxiways, pavement rehabilitation, NAVAIDS and runway/taxiway lighting, utilities, perimeter roads and access-road improvements.
Dams & Hydropower
Benham, a Haskell Company, has been designing and constructing major dams and hydropower facilities since 1923, with more than 200 dams in locations from Moscow, Ohio, to Moscow, Russia. In the 1930s, we moved from water supply into hydropower development with the design of the world’s longest multiple-arch dam for the Grand River Dam Authority in northeastern Oklahoma. This utility continues to provide electric power to northeast Oklahoma. Today, Haskell offers dam-safety inspection services at the state and federal levels. We can inspect, analyze and prepare rehabilitation plans for all types of earth embankment and concrete dams. Our expertise includes all parts of the facility such as rehab to tainter gates and other dam specific structures.
Firing & Training Ranges
Haskell is recognized as a leading training range planning and design firm. We provide project planning document charrettes (PPDC), ProjDoc instruction, full A/E range design, master planning, Line-of-Sight Analysis, battlefield simulation facilities, construction administration and design-build project delivery services for Army, Army National Guard, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force training facilities. These have included arms training, qualification ranges, sniper training, infantry and tank courses, aerial bombing ranges, baffled ranges indoor ranges and urban warfare training courses at many leading training sites nationwide. We are one of only five contract holders for the Huntsville USACE On-Demand Contract for Range Design. Huntsville directs the design of all U.S. Army training ranges.
