Haskell’s Malaysia office serves as the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters, housing engineering and construction resources to support clients across the APAC region. Based in Kuala Lumpur since 2016, the team delivers integrated project solutions backed by global expertise and regional insight.

Office Leadership and Team Members

Jonathan Toke, P.E., Vice President of International Planning & Development, is based in Kuala Lumpur and serves as a key resource for Haskell’s international expansion. With nearly three decades at Haskell, he leads the development and implementation of Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) best practices, supporting supplier management, risk mitigation, project execution and client alignment from early planning through delivery.

Supporting regional operations is Matthew Schultz, Director of Field Operations. With more than two decades of industry experience, he ensures appropriate design and construction resources are aligned with project goals, maintains regular communication with stakeholders and monitors overall team performance to support successful project execution across the APAC region.

The Kuala Lumpur office is further supported by more than 80 team members across engineering, construction and corporate functions.

About the Malaysia Office

The Malaysia office delivers fully integrated Architecture, Engineering and Construction services supporting projects across the APAC region. The team is backed by Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) capabilities, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), laser scanning, virtual and augmented reality and 4D sequencing to enhance planning and execution.

Markets supported from Malaysia include Food & Beverage, Aviation & Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Beer, Wine & Spirits and Consumer Products.

As the APAC headquarters, several of Haskell’s business units operate from Malaysia, including Safety & Quality, Human Resources and Administration. The office supports flexible delivery methods and self-perform capabilities, enabling efficient execution from planning through construction.

Since its launch, Haskell’s Malaysia office has developed a strong network of reputable, pre-qualified vendors, suppliers and subcontractors. These partners share Haskell’s commitment to safety, quality and performance, enabling seamless collaboration and immediate project synergy.

From intern to full-time Event Specialist, Stella Humberg’s Haskell journey has come full circle. 

Stella started with Haskell as a Corporate Marketing intern in 2022. Today, she helps bring events to life from months of planning and vendor coordination to day-of details like guest experience, accessibility, wayfinding and keeping the fun on schedule. 

At the Wasatch Curling Invitational supporting Utah’s National Ability Center, Stella gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create meaningful moments for Haskell’s clients, partners and vendors.
