Haskell’s Malaysia office serves as the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters, housing engineering and construction resources to support clients across the APAC region. Based in Kuala Lumpur since 2016, the team delivers integrated project solutions backed by global expertise and regional insight.
Office Leadership and Team Members
Jonathan Toke, P.E., Vice President of International Planning & Development, is based in Kuala Lumpur and serves as a key resource for Haskell’s international expansion. With nearly three decades at Haskell, he leads the development and implementation of Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) best practices, supporting supplier management, risk mitigation, project execution and client alignment from early planning through delivery.
Supporting regional operations is Matthew Schultz, Director of Field Operations. With more than two decades of industry experience, he ensures appropriate design and construction resources are aligned with project goals, maintains regular communication with stakeholders and monitors overall team performance to support successful project execution across the APAC region.
The Kuala Lumpur office is further supported by more than 80 team members across engineering, construction and corporate functions.
About the Malaysia Office
The Malaysia office delivers fully integrated Architecture, Engineering and Construction services supporting projects across the APAC region. The team is backed by Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) capabilities, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), laser scanning, virtual and augmented reality and 4D sequencing to enhance planning and execution.
Markets supported from Malaysia include Food & Beverage, Aviation & Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Beer, Wine & Spirits and Consumer Products.
As the APAC headquarters, several of Haskell’s business units operate from Malaysia, including Safety & Quality, Human Resources and Administration. The office supports flexible delivery methods and self-perform capabilities, enabling efficient execution from planning through construction.
Since its launch, Haskell’s Malaysia office has developed a strong network of reputable, pre-qualified vendors, suppliers and subcontractors. These partners share Haskell’s commitment to safety, quality and performance, enabling seamless collaboration and immediate project synergy.

On June 5, our Haskell Philippines team joined the Brigada Eskwela initiative to give back to the community at Rizal High School in Pasig City, one of the largest schools in the country.
The team rolled up their sleeves to clean, repair, and repaint five classrooms and the hallway of the Jovito Salonga Building, and donated whiteboards, chalkboards, and cleaning supplies to support the school ahead of the new academic year.
Brigada Eskwela is an annual tradition that runs nationwide before classes open where communities, companies and schools come together in the spirit of bayanihan to create a safe and equipped space for students to start the school year.
Days like this are a reminder that the spaces people learn and work in matter, and being able to give back to the community is always worth the effort.

Our Haskell APAC team attended the @officialfmm Annual Dinner recently, joining industry peers for an evening of engagement and dialogue with key stakeholders across the manufacturing ecosystem.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, gain deeper insights into industry priorities, and further our connection with FMM as a key platform supporting Malaysia’s industrial landscape.

We wrapped up our Raya celebrations with a fun-filled Friends Friday at the office. From ketupat making and sampul raya decorating to a trivia session featuring food from around Malaysia, it was a great way for the team to come together and enjoy the festive spirit.
