Haskell's Architecture/Engineering Technology Application Sr. Manager job is a great chance to lead a team that keeps 700 designers on the cutting edge.
A design group of more than 700 architects and engineers (A/E) runs on its building information modeling software (BIM). Haskell is seeking an experienced professional to lead the team that keeps its technology up and running on the cutting edge.
The company’s new A/E Technology Application Senior Manager (BIM Manager) will lead a team of three, stay abreast of the latest design technology, recommend changes and new programs, and maintain standards. They will also train and support project teams to optimize the operational effectiveness of technology systems.
“It's a challenging job, but it’s fun,” said Elias Trad, Director of A/E Technology Application. “Knowledge is key. We need someone who is a good leader and can be a face for the Technology Support Team.”
Haskell’s tech stack includes Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, BIM 360, Vault, Inventor, and more. The Tech Application Manager will handle the logistics, licensing and necessary updating of all platforms, as well as maintaining customization. As an enterprise user of Autodesk, the multinational software giant affords Haskell’s technology personnel a status and level of access that most don’t enjoy.
“We need someone who is knowledgeable in MS office products as well as programming because we have a lot of customization that needs to be maintained year after year,” Trad said.
Internally, Haskell offers opportunity for advancement in leadership. Further, it is a growing company with a reputation for innovation. Technology leadership is empowered and encouraged to seek out the newest, best products available. Accordingly, opportunities for continuing education and certification are similarly encouraged.
“If you can find something that is original and can improve production and can be beneficial for the company like new products, new software, that’s what we’re looking for,” he said. “That's what we do. I added one 3D printer, and now we have four. I just added new software, actually, last week.
In addition to providing a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, Haskell operates with the direction of six strategic pillars, the first of which is to “Provide Team Members the BEST Job of Their Lives.” It offers a robust benefits package that includes a 401k match and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which creates stock
