Roger McDonell has been promoted to Vice President of Construction in Haskell’s Federal Division, the company has announced.

Most recently serving as Director of Construction, McDonell brings 30 years of experience spanning education, food and beverage, commercial and healthcare projects before joining the Federal team.

As in the Healthcare market, Federal projects require exacting standards. McDonell’s experience managing client expectations and leading teams that thrive in challenging circumstances have been invaluable as he has built strong relationships with Federal team members in multiple locations.

“In this new position, I will have direct access to the resources needed to meet our clients’ needs,” McDonell said. “With the ability to assign resources for all our Federal projects, I will be able to make sure each gets the appropriate level of management to ensure the best possible outcome.”

With his passion for construction and managing large teams, his experience and enthusiasm have been a hallmark during his career and have led to great success with repeat clients, such as Florida Blue and Baptist Medical Center in Florida and Broken Arrow Hospital and St. John Owasso Hospital in Oklahoma.

McDonell has been a Haskell team member since 1992, when, upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida, he began his career as an Assistant Project Manager. He quickly moved into roles as Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with long-term onsite assignments.
