Discover the exciting career opportunity for a seasoned project architect to join Haskell’s San Diego office and lead transformative projects in the region.
Haskell’s opening for a Senior Project Architect in its San Diego office is a dream job for an experienced candidate eager to make a mark in their field and the region.
“This is a career move,” said Dan Lee, Project Executive in the San Diego. “This is going to be someone who has been in a senior position somewhere. There is leadership opportunity being in this office.”
Haskell has connections and experience with all major San Diego healthcare systems. And Lee said that while San Diego businesses are renowned for doing business with local partners, the Haskell teams based there support not only hometown clients but clients throughout the Western United States.
The successful candidate should be registered in California and have experience working within Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) regulation. They also should value and thrive within an integrated project delivery environment.
“San Diego is heavily design-build,” Lee said. “The hospital systems here favor that delivery. We work very closely with the number of construction firms in the area, and they engage our Project Architects or our Project Manager into the mix. We’re currently working on an MRI replacement project. That's the kind of project where the Project Architect serves in both roles as the project architect and the project manager. These types of project provide professional growth.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience and be proficient in CAD and Revit. Click this link to see the complete position description and to apply.
