Haskell's technical training team recently completed basic pipefitting training on three Haskell job sites.

Crews at the Lower Poplar and Rocky Creek Water Reclamation Facilities in Macon, Georgia; the Upper Occoquan Service Authority Water Reclamation and Reuse facility in Centerville, Virginia; and a water treatment facility in Florida for a confidential client, participated in three hourlong training sessions, which included pipe sizing and identification, measurements and blueprints, cutting and pipe fit-up techniques.

Haskell is self-performing the mechanical and concrete scopes of work at each of the three sites.

Training was facilitated uniquely, as team members individually viewed several knowledge videos delivered via a QR Code. Each video was two to three minutes long. After team members viewed the videos, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on the job site conducted a skill/hands-on follow-up in three separate lunch-and-learn sessions. One site used this as preparation for follow-on project job tasks.

In all, 31 team members received training and completion certificates.
