Certified Sling Conducts Rigging Training on Haskell Job Site
Discover how Certified Sling’s rigging refresher training equips Haskell crews with essential skills in risk management, rigging planning and safe equipment use.
Haskell’s Permanent Craft Employee (PCE) construction team at a confidential client’s water treatment facility in Florida recently conducted rigging refresher training with an instructor from Certified Sling LLC.
Training included risk management, basic rigging planning, principles of rigging, the rigging triangle and loads, hardware application and inspection, sling application and uses, and hands-on skills training to put the knowledge training to use in the field.
The training comprised two hours of classroom instruction and two hours of hands-on facilitation. During a fifth hour, each participant took part in hand-signal training.
Finally, the team had additional training from Victaulic on pipe-grooving. Team members applied their rigging training to move equipment into place for this training execution.
