Benham Takes Top Spot in Workplace Rankings by The Oklahoman
Haskell's OKC and Tulsa offices captured the prestigious award by creating significant, successful experiences for clients and team members alike.
With 135 employees in its Oklahoma City and Tulsa offices, Benham, a Haskell Company, has been ranked No. 1 among midsize businesses in The Oklahoman’s Top Workplaces awards.
“We bring a history of innovation and thoughtful expertise to craft the optimal solution for every project or program, regardless of size or market, serving as practice leaders within our market segments, bringing the highest level of entrepreneurial thinking to each project,” Haskell said in response to the nomination of Benham, a Haskell Company, in the Top Workplaces competition. “We share insights and observations openly, demonstrating our leadership within the industry and our consultative value to clients. We’re building Haskell Tomorrow today.”

Each year, the Oklahoma City newspaper names the top 100 companies and organizations in Oklahoma in three categories: large (350+), midsize (125-349) and small (35-124).
In its story announcing the honor, The Oklahoman wrote, “Transparency and integrity define Haskell operations from Jacksonville to OKC and around the globe, said Tommy Willis, Director of Architecture and Engineering in the Oklahoma City office.”

“This award is truly a reflection of Haskell, our parent company, and their commitment to our values of Team, Excellence, Service and Trust that are part of the strategic vision for our future, known as Haskell 2025,” Willis said. “They have developed strategic pillars to create both a customer and Team Member experience of significance, success, and satisfaction and in the process, ‘Creating Things That Matter.'”
Benham also won the Manager category, one of 15 Special Awards. That honor was described as, “My manager helps me learn and grow,” and “My manager cares about my concerns.”

Wilson told The Oklahoman that the Top Workplaces award means something different than recognition based solely on expertise.
“A lot of the other types of awards we win or recognition we receive are generally project-based in either architecture, engineering, or construction that revolve around specific projects or designs,” he said. “This award is about the people that make our business possible.
“In our Oklahoma City and Tulsa locations, our sole focus is on the profession of architecture and engineering. At heart, we’re still a service-oriented business, and the service we provide to our customers is only as good as the people who deliver it. The right corporate culture to attract and retain top talent is key to making sure we can now, and in the future, deliver quality designs to our customers.”
