Again this year, Haskell's Superintendents Meeting brought together field leaders from across the country for camaraderie, celebration and learning.
Even though it’s a tradition that dates back decades, Haskell’s annual Superintendents Meeting has consistently evolved and grown.
As always, this year’s two-day event, held at the East Club level at TIAA Bank Field, brought field leaders from across the nation. It also saw the addition of team members from Cortez, Inc., a process mechanical contractor with nearly 100 years of experience in fabrication, installation and maintenance, serving primarily the food and beverage industries.
Inspiring keynote speakers highlighted the program each of the two days. Technology was on full display, and presentation topics included RodRadar’s revolutionary Live Dig Radar® and new initiatives, such as Focused Safety Inspections.
Field Excellence recognition is always a highlight, as well. This year’s recipients were as follows:
- The Field Leadership Excellence Award went to Project Superintendents Shawn Bushong and Darrell Jones. During the 2022 evaluation period, the pair led the field team working on Project Eco in Fort Lawn, South Carolina.
- The PCE Field Excellence Award went to Ethan Weiskircher. Weiskircher graduated from the Haskell-sponsored Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) apprenticeship program and joined Haskell’s Permanent Craft Employee workforce upon graduation. He was recently promoted to Foreman.
