A plant addition increased reliability and flexibility for finished-product operations.

Schreiber Foods needed additional capacity and operational flexibility for incubating, chilling and storing finished product. Haskell served as the integrated design-builder for Project Moranis, providing process and packaging conceptual design, detailed engineering, utility upgrades and construction services for the plant addition.

The 25,000-square-foot addition supported continuous product output.

The 25,000-square-foot addition serves the client’s finished-product operations. The work supported an in-cup incubating system and the associated chilling and storage functions needed to maintain continuous operation and product output. Haskell developed the conceptual process and packaging design, which original equipment manufacturers (OEM) further advanced, and completed architectural, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and industrial refrigeration services.

The team completed work in an active production area without disrupting operations.

Construction and utility work took place in the production area while the facility remained operational. Maintaining production continuity and compliance with sanitary regulations was essential throughout the project as Haskell coordinated the design and construction effort around ongoing operations.
