Gulfstream Paint Hangar

Savannah, Georgia

An increase in manufacturing demanded additional onsite capabilities.

Gulfstream Aerospace (Gulfstream) designs, develops, manufactures, markets, services and supports the world’s most technologically advanced business-jet aircraft. When they needed to add a new 102,000-square-foot paint facility to support manufacturing, they turned to Haskell for an efficient facility solution.

We created a state-of-the-art paint hangar to support production.

The facility streamlined paint operations and supports multiple aircraft at one time. The three-bay facility now has a cross-draft prep booth, two downdraft paint booths, offices, shops, storage and employee amenities that function as an addition to the company’s Savannah headquarters campus.

Haskell self-performance sped project delivery.

Haskell self-performed key deliverables to ensure quality and maintain the projected schedule. Performance of architecture and engineering design, construction project management, foundations, return air trenches and slab-on-grade, and concrete tilt-up wall panels fabrication and erection safely accelerated project delivery. In fact, Gulfstream took possession a month earlier than expected.
