This reimagined and repurposed brownfield site optimized production and enhanced sustainability.
When a leading beverage producer needed to increase production capacity and respond rapidly to growing consumer demand, Haskell delivered a future-ready solution rooted in operational efficiency and sustainable design. This $24.5 million project reimagined and repurposed existing space, minimizing environmental impact while introducing a high-performance Carafe-style PET bottle production line. By strategically relocating maintenance and storage areas, the team created the necessary footprint to expand output without increasing the facility’s physical footprint.
Production continued uninterrupted as we delivered a high-capacity, turnkey solution.
Haskell provided complete EPC services, seamlessly integrating a new production line into the client’s established process and packaging systems. The upgraded line now produces 52-ounce bottles at a rate of 130 bottles per minute and 89-ounce bottles at 80 bottles per minute, significantly boosting product throughput. Leveraging the existing infrastructure while maintaining sanitary standards not only preserved valuable resources but also ensured operational continuity, enabling the client to maintain production throughout installation.
Sustainability was central to every decision. Optimized material flow reduces energy demand across utilities and conveyor systems. Enhanced line efficiency means more production with less waste, supporting the client’s environmental goals while strengthening their market competitiveness.
Haskell provided integrated design and construction services, including facility design, process and packaging design, packaging controls, programming, and startup and commissioning services. Collaboration was key, as we worked closely with regulatory bodies and equipment suppliers to deliver a state-of-the-art production line.
Present improvements were created with scalability in mind.
With increased capacity, improved flexibility, and a streamlined operational layout, the modernized facility is positioned to scale with confidence. The successful outcome of this project showcases how Haskell will work alongside clients to solve complex problems, improve performance and advance sustainability every time.
