Elevating Sustainability with Bold Goals and Meaningful Progress
Learn how Haskell’s 2025 sustainability strategy enhances environmental impact with data-driven decisions and meaningful client partnerships.
At Haskell, sustainability is a cornerstone, and 2024 was a pivotal year in our approach. As we step into 2025, our sights are set on establishing ourselves as a leader in sustainability within our industry and beyond.
I’ve spent my career fostering sustainability at large organizations that made everything from locomotives to light bulbs and jet engines to wine. I view leading sustainability efforts at Haskell, an integrated architectural, engineering and construction company, as the ideal opportunity to do the right things for the environment from the ground up.
Here’s what’s ahead for 2025:
Improved GHG Collection
We’re prioritizing enhancing our greenhouse gas (GHG) data collection processes. By refining how we measure and track emissions and investigating additional sources, we will better understand our impact and identify opportunities to reduce it.
We are also exploring the many great sustainability platforms where we can log our data to track our performance through dashboards and other useful AI tools. Accurate data is the foundation of impactful action, and we are committed to setting clear benchmarks and making meaningful progress.
Corporate Sustainability Plan
This year, we will launch Haskell’s corporate sustainability plan across the enterprise. The plan is a comprehensive roadmap that defines our priorities, goals, and strategies for embedding sustainability into our operations, culture, and services.
The plan will include elements such as employee training, climate action planning and participation in sustainability committees and organizations. This guide is not just for how we do business but for how we do better – for our team members and clients.
Bringing Sustainability to Life
In 2025, we will focus on bringing sustainability to life in everything we do. For our team members, that means empowering them with the tools, knowledge and resources to make sustainable choices. For our clients, it means integrating sustainability into the solutions we deliver, ensuring we’re designing and building with a purpose that aligns with their goals and values. Sustainability isn’t just a policy; it’s a mindset, a mission, and a way of working.
The future of sustainability at Haskell is bright, and it’s powered by the collective efforts of our incredible team. We’re driving change, setting new standards and making a lasting impact because together, we can create a more sustainable world.
Here’s to a transformative 2025. Let’s lead the way!
