For the third consecutive year, Haskell Philippines received multiple awards for its outstanding safety performance on Temple Projects during the National Construction Safety Conference at Ichikawa Hall, Occupational Safety and Health Center, Diliman, Quezon City.

Organized by the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (SOPI), the National Construction Safety Conference recognizes companies that demonstrate exemplary commitment to advancing workplace safety and health standards within the construction sector. Through the Construction Safety Awards, SOPI honors organizations that implement industry-leading practices, fostering safer work environments and significantly reducing incidents of workplace injuries.

Cesar Castro, Haskell International Safety Manager, had this to say about the accomplishment and his teams in the Philippines:

“I’m incredibly proud to share that, for the third consecutive year, our team has been recognized for outstanding implementation of a strong safety culture. Over the years, we’ve achieved a remarkable milestone: over 20 million safe work hours, filled with valuable experiences and lessons learned.

“This achievement is no coincidence. It’s the result of a dedicated Safety team that we’ve consistently supported, investing in their personal and professional growth. It’s truly inspiring to see how each team member has reached individual goals that have strengthened our collective mission.

“Our impact goes beyond the jobsite: more than 3,500 workers have received ongoing safety training, positively affecting not only their work but also their families and communities. Thanks to their active participation, we’ve donated more than 900 units of blood to the Red Cross over the years, reaffirming our commitment to life, both on and off the job.

“Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. I’m incredibly proud and grateful to have contributed to the development of a strong and transformative safety culture in this region.”

The recognitions awarded to the teams at the Alabang, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and Davao Temple projects are a testament to the organization’s unwavering focus on worker protection, hazard prevention and full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. The awards further highlight Haskell’s culture of continuous improvement and its proactive efforts to cultivate a strong safety-first mindset across all levels of project execution.
