Background & Experience

Brad brings to his position an extensive and diverse background, including commercial real estate development, investment strategies, acquisitions, finance, and accounting. Prior to his current position, he served as Haskell’s vice president of Finance and Accounting. Additionally, Brad founded and runs Haskell’s innovation arm, Dysruptek, which invests in emerging AEC technologies and performs research and development of new technologies for Haskell.

Prior to Haskell, Brad worked at The St. Joe Company for nine years and served as CFO of its Commercial Group. St. Joe Commercial was involved in land development, commercial development and construction, as well as the acquisition and management of a $300 million office portfolio located across the Southeast. Prior to St. Joe, Brad worked for nine years with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, Georgia, and Jacksonville, Florida.

Education

Brad is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science with Special Attainments in Commerce. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Professional Affiliations

In terms of professional and civic organizations, Brad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Florida Institute of CFOs (fiCFO) and the Construction CFO Forum. Brad is also a director of the American Contractors Insurance Group (ACIG), Haskell’s group captive insurance company, and a director of BLOX, a modular construction firm based in Birmingham, Alabama.
