Manchester Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic

Manchester, Kentucky

A healthcare network needed to grow to meet the needs of suburban communities.

To better serve its suburban community, AdventHealth Manchester partnered with Haskell to build a 27,300-square-foot medical office building located on the edge of an active acute-care campus.

Topographical challenges and an aggressive schedule marked the project.

The geography of the site caused extensive site grading and retention to place the building. This precast project had an aggressive schedule in a challenging area for subcontractor solicitation. Haskell worked with the client to release the precast panel fabrication earlier than planned to meet the demanding schedule. Although a challenging site for precast construction, the project team planned the transportation and installation details and coordinated with local authorities, hospital administration and other stakeholders to minimize impact and maintain the installation schedule.

Haskell delivered on AdventHealth’s primary care needs.

The project budget was challenged from the start with funds available compared with the client’s needs. The design and preconstruction teams worked closely to ensure the most efficient and constructible design to deliver an attractive building on AdventHealth’s campus in a time-efficient manner. The process included multiple iterations of value engineering and pricing evaluations that ultimately resulted in a stunning addition to the campus within their budget.
