The world of electrical engineering is open, figuratively and literally, at Haskell for qualified job candidates in varying stages of their careers.

To meet the surging demands of clients, the global Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firm has expanded by more than 25% since the start of 2021. That growth has created opportunities for electrical engineers with experience in Power, Instrumentation, Controls and Building Services throughout the Design & Consulting Services Group.

“Our diversity of clients and end markets really sets us apart and gives the Architects and Engineers to design and build things that matter,” said Jeff Juris, Haskell Vice President and Division Leader of Industrial and Federal Design. “You could work on the electrical design of a federal project one day, and the next day you're doing the electrical design of a manufacturing facility. Also, we’re a global company with more than 20 offices across the U.S., and we offer the flexibility of working in an office or remotely.”

Haskell’s Design & Consulting Services (DCS) Group unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. While it has delivery groups that specialize in delivering turnkey design-build or Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) projects, the DCS Group serves clients who need specialized, fee-for-service design or consulting projects.

The DCS Group serves four primary markets: Government, primarily Department of Defense, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Air and Army National Guard, and the U.S. Naval Facilities Command; Industrial, focusing on food and beverage, consumer products, and utilities; Civil Infrastructure; and Life Science and Healthcare.

“We're in a variety of markets, and we have exciting projects with Fortune 500 clients that we're executing across the world,” Juris said. “We're a valuable partner to Fortune 500 clients as they grow and execute their capital plans, and we're adding electrical engineers to help us grow and serve them better. As an international company, we offer the flexibility to work on a variety of end markets across the globe.”

The entry-level Design Engineer positions offer the chance to assist a Lead Electrical Engineer on challenging projects in the design of construction documents, including power one-lines, control schematics, electrical equipment specifications, lighting and receptacle plans.

Mid-career professionals have opportunities at numerous Project Engineer levels, which offer expanding responsibility for assigned project designs, coordination, client communications and associated construction administration.

And Senior Electrical Engineer positions offer those with 10 or more years of experience the opportunity to execute a project from beginning to end and lead a team of electrical engineers and designers in all aspects of a project. Candidates must have a P.E. license in Electrical Engineering to be considered.

Haskell operates with the direction of six strategic pillars, the first of which is to “Provide Team Members the BEST Job of Their Lives.” Team members receive full health and insurance plans, wellness resources and meaningful work/life balance solutions, including paid time off, a 401k match and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which creates stock ownership for everyone who is full-time.
