Background & Experience

Daniel Zvara, PE, is a mechanical and plumbing engineer specializing in process support utilities at Haskell, where he has worked since 2010. With industry experience dating to the same year, Daniel leads projects primarily in manufacturing and processing facilities, as well as warehouses and distribution centers. He develops innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions, oversees mechanical calculations, system layouts, equipment selection, and the design of mechanical and plumbing systems. Daniel also supervises project teams, manages design budgets and schedules, and provides construction administration, including on-site coordination, equipment start-up, functional testing and commissioning.

Daniel’s project experience spans a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, tobacco, dairy, snack foods and aerospace. Key projects include the 360,000-square-foot greenfield Muller-Quaker Dairy yogurt production facility in Batavia, New York; Frito-Lay’s 262,000-square-foot snack food plant in Aberdeen, Maryland; ConAgra Foods’ receiving dock and freezer expansion in Russellville, Arkansas; and the 344,000-square-foot composites aircraft components manufacturing facility for Safran in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Daniel is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington and West Virginia. He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), supporting excellence in mechanical and plumbing system design for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
