We delivered a future-ready bottling and distribution campus for Coca-Cola Beverages Florida.
Coca-Cola Beverages Florida needed a large-scale, strategically located facility to consolidate bottling and distribution operations under one roof. The company chose Haskell to deliver an 800,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility. The goals were clear: increase operational efficiency, support rapid packaging capabilities across multiple lines and position the site for long-term growth.
However, the chosen 165-acre site presented significant civil engineering challenges — specifically, the need for over five feet of surcharge fill to stabilize the land before construction. In addition to the complex sitework, the project required precise integration of high-speed OEM warehousing and production systems, all while maintaining aggressive schedule and budget targets.
Strategic collaboration produced a scalable design and self-performed construction.
Our integrated teams provided structural, utility and civil expertise, executing the project through a self-performance model that drove schedule certainty and quality control.
The building features a steel structural framework and insulated tilt-up concrete walls for a robust, energy-efficient envelope. Internally, the facility supports blending, syrup production and packaging across four future-ready lines. Utility systems were custom-engineered to accommodate high-speed operations and owner-contracted equipment, with design efforts focused on maximizing material handling accuracy and flow.
To address the site’s geotechnical conditions, we implemented a surcharge fill strategy with value engineering and phased sequencing, ensuring the budget and timeline remained intact. Open communication and close coordination with the client enabled us to adapt to evolving scope needs, keeping the project on track from concept to completion.
The project created a long-term anchor for Coca-Cola’s Florida distribution network.
This facility now serves as a cornerstone of Coca-Cola Beverages’ Florida distribution network; built to perform on Day 1 and scale for tomorrow. The facility includes dedicated fleet services, on-site vending capabilities and production-ready zones, seamlessly integrated to support operational efficiency and long-term expansion.
By blending technical expertise with problem-solving agility, our team delivered a turnkey solution that meets the demands of modern beverage manufacturing and distribution. This project is a testament to what’s possible when vision, execution and partnership align.
