Chairman, CEO and President Jim O'Leary expresses his appreciation for a record-setting year and reinforces the culture that achieved it.
It is with a tremendous sense of pride that Haskell concludes Construction Safety Week, and its nearly 2,200 team members do so knowing that their focus on safety will be just as sharp next week and the next and the next.
“Everybody is responsible for safety at Haskell,” said Chairman, CEO and President Jim O’Leary. “Leadership sets the tone for Haskell’s safety mission, but all of us are responsible for safety.”
The company earned the Associated Builders and Contractors National Safety Pinnacle Award, its second consecutive and third in four years, for its performance in 2022. Statistically, Haskell team members and contract partners worked a record 10.8 million manhours and achieved the best Work in Place metric since it began tracking in 2014.
Simply put, Haskell is working more and working more safely.
“I would like to express a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation to all our team members for Haskell’s safety performance,” O’Leary said. “Safety is a guiding principle of our culture.”
