Background & Experience
Andrea Inserra joined the Haskell Board of Directors in November 2018. She is President of the Global Defense Sector at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she directs the strategy and execution that guides how the company builds mission-ready, advanced technology to support the readiness, lethality, and survivability of our nation’s warfighters. During her 22 years with the company, Andrea has held several leadership positions across federal, military and civilian markets, guiding strategic initiatives to drive business growth, maximize financial performance, and increase diversity and inclusion.
Education
Andrea is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, holding a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Professional Affiliations
A champion of veterans and military families, Andrea serves on the board of directors for the Armed Services YMCA, a nonprofit supporting enlisted military members and their families. Previously, she served on the boards of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States and the Catholic University of America School of Engineering.
