Michael Asher brings to Haskell over two decades of experience managing and executing complex design and construction projects in the life sciences sector, with a focus on cell and gene therapies, biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. His broad knowledge of the industry allows him to develop robust solutions for clients at every stage of their project, whether it be early site selection and capital planning, design and construction, decommissioning or adaptive reuse. His unique perspectives stem from serving in various project engineering and management roles on both the client and AEPCM sides of the industry. Michael has successfully delivered numerous high-profile and high-risk projects in this market space and understands the keys to success in crafting a winning strategy that balances opportunities and risks. In his role as Director of Operations, he is tasked with assembling great teams, delivering quality results and creating a client experience that is second to none.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He believes education is a life-long pursuit and is constantly participating in ongoing coursework, keeping up with current trends and developing new skills.
Michael is a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Project Manager (CPM) from the Project Management Leadership Group (PMLG). His experience is sought after by several industry advisory organizations to provide guidance, consulting services and thought leadership. Michael is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). He also volunteers as an alumni advisor to Sigma Nu Fraternity and is a mentor to several engineers and young professionals beginning their professional journeys.
