JACKSONVILLE, FL – Haskell, one of the nation’s leading design-build firms, announced today it has completed the acquisition of Seiberling, a Beloit, Wisconsin based engineering and technical consulting company providing process, clean in place (CIP) and steam in place (SIP) design and control system integration services to the food, dairy, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The acquisition will increase levels of expertise in process engineering and control system integration at Haskell, which works with some of the world’s leading food, beverage and consumer products companies to develop highly efficient and cost-effective manufacturing facilities. Haskell is now positioned to be the premier provider of process engineering for the food and beverage, biotechnology/pharmaceutical and consumer products industries.
"This is a strategic move for Haskell that will position us in the national and international marketplace as leading experts in both manufacturing and facility solutions. Our integrated team can provide world-class solutions in process systems, packaging systems, material handling systems and building facilities," said John-Paul Saenz, President of Haskell’s Industrial Group. "As a specialist in process engineering and control system integration, Seiberling complements and completes our full service offering for design-build and EPC delivery. Their constant focus on safety, quality and sustainability made Seiberling a natural fit for Haskell."
"Equally important as being a strategic fit, Seiberling is a great cultural fit with Haskell. Delivering excellent customer service and creating great opportunities for our people have always been key to both companies. The acquisition provides an excellent way forward for the bright, young professionals in our firm to advance their careers in ways not possible in a small firm," said John Miller, President of Seiberling.
Under the acquisition, Seiberling will continue its current operations in Beloit and at its regional offices and maintain its existing brand. Seiberling employees will join Haskell's diverse team of architects, engineers and construction experts. The acquisition will also expand Haskell’s geographic diversity by adding the Seiberling offices to its list of corporate locations, which currently include its headquarters in Jacksonville and offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Columbus and Mexico City.
"Haskell's ability to complete facilities, process and packaging projects on an EPC basis is now unmatched in our industry. This partnership will afford us the opportunity to add depth of expertise, expand services, create new market opportunities and grow internationally – all consistent with our mission to become a global resource for our customers," said Paul Tyler, Senior Vice President of Haskell’s Food and Beverage Division.
