Background & Experience

Barry Anderson provides overall leadership and guidance to the Beloit, Jacksonville, and Atlanta automation groups with a focus on staff development, innovation, standards development and quality improvement.

Barry started his career at Seiberling in 1989, doing control system design for large-scale process control systems and eventually led and managed the automation group in the Beloit office for 19 years. He has been responsible for design, project management, business development and overall team leadership during his career. 

Barry has been actively involved with various automation systems since 1983 and has extensive experience with PLC systems, multiple HMI/SCADA platforms, instrumentation, and motor controls used with various process systems including Batching and Continuous Blending, Pasteurization, Fermentation, Filling, CIP, SIP and overall plant operations, mainly in food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Before joining Seiberling, he worked in the defense industry manufacturing and gained extensive experience in machine control and material handling.

Education

Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
