Don Baldwin is Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer for Haskell, one of the industry’s leading integrated design, engineering and construction firms. He joined Haskell in 2010 and is responsible for the development and execution of Haskell’s overall business and marketing strategies. Don participates in setting strategy, driving growth, capturing market share and broadening the company’s customer base. He leads all activities related to corporate marketing, and supports business development and customer relations activities at the group and division level.
Prior to working with Haskell, Don spent 30 plus years in telecommunications with Lucent Technologies and AT&T. His last position with Lucent was Chief Operating Officer – Australia and New Zealand, where he was very successful in building a strategic business presence for Lucent in the region. He also served as a prominent member of the Senior Leadership Team for the Asia/Pacific Region. Following his retirement from Lucent, Don’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch another rewarding business venture before ultimately joining Haskell.
Don received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University, and he also attended post graduate programs at The Darden School of Business (University of Virginia) and Stanford University. Don serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Jacksonville Symphony Association, and he is board President for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville.
