With a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina and experience in engineering, construction and public procurement, Dave joined Haskell in 1990 as Manager of Business Development - Public Facilities.
Progressing through the Director of Project Development position, Dave led the Education Facilities Division as Senior Vice President – Division Leader. Education Facilities became the company’s second largest division.
Dave moved to the Human Resources team as Vice President – Organizational Development. He was responsible for talent acquisition and, learning and development. During this assignment the company began a multi-year presence on the Training Top 125 list, raking among the country’s best training and development organizations.
In 2016, as part of the Benham acquisition strategy, Dave became the Haskell’s Chief Integration Officer. His team coordinated a 400-person, four office organizational integration. Subsequent assignments include leading the company’s introduction to process improvement. Most recently, in support of Haskell’s 2025 growth plan, Dave is leading the company’s Workforce Development Strategy.
He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Jacksonville, a LEED Accredited Professional, a Florida licensed General Contractor and a licensed Building Contractor. Because he and his wife enjoy residential renovation projects as a hobby, Dave is also a licensed Home Inspector. As a community steward Dave has served on the boards of numerous not-for-profit organizations and public policy groups.
