David Thaeler is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Haskell. He is responsible for the company’s human capital strategies including succession planning, training, talent management, culture engagement, compensation and benefits. He has additional responsibility for organizational development, administrative, payroll and reprographics services.
David has 20+ years of human resources leadership experience in employee-centric organizations including two Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully led teams in developing and implementing human capital strategies that drive business results, create positive work environments and increase overall employee engagement.
Prior to Haskell, David served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for a Georgia-based hospital system that was identified four years in a row as a Fortune 100 “Great Place to Work”. In addition, he has had prior senior human resources leadership roles in telecommunications, professional management services and the health products and services industries.
David obtained his baccalaureate degree in business administration and dual master degrees in labor and human resources and public policy from The Ohio State University.
His community and professional involvement include serving on the board of directors for the Guardian Catholic Schools, corporate advocate for NE Florida’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters “Beyond School Walls” Program, board of directors Diversity Council of the Carolinas and 2nd Harvest Food Bank, GPTW Executive Group Member, Professional Member SHRM, ASTD, HRPS and ACHE as well as serving as a business advisory board member for several professional management and service firms.
