JACKSONVILLE, FL – Haskell today announced that a project with Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has achieved certified LEED® Silver status. Gulfstream’s new maintenance hangar at its facility in Brunswick, Georgia recently received the certification. Haskell was the design-build partner on the nearly 110,000-square-foot project.
The goal of achieving LEED® certification was established at the onset of the project. The building plans adhered to LEED® principles addressing sustainable site planning, water and energy efficiency, conservation of materials and resources and indoor environmental quality.
This marks Haskell’s 53rd LEED® certified project. “Our dedication to helping our customers achieve LEED® status on their projects guides every step of the design-build process,” said Paul Raudenbush, Senior Vice President at Haskell. “It is just as rewarding to us as it is the customer when the project receives certification. We look forward to helping our customers continue responsible corporate initiatives to build to LEED® standards moving forward.”
