Haskell collaborated with Atherton Baptist Homes to craft a master plan to guide long-term strategies for their Atherton senior living community. Working in conjunction with residents, staff, board members and prospective residents, Haskell created a multi-phase plan of campus improvements to enhance the community and build residents.
We helped the project gain sure financial footing.
By the time construction was to begin on the first phase — The Courtyard at Atherton — the financial climate had dramatically shifted. Haskell brought together a team of investment bankers and financial advisors, architects, engineers and construction professionals, city officials and consultants to bring the 50-unit and underground parking expansion to bear.
When faced with a monumental challenge, we found a solution.
After securing $43 million in tax-exempt bonds to finance the 128,905-square-foot project, Atherton was able to build the Courtyard, parking addition and make additional improvements and return existing debt. The most ambitious building project in the community’s history was also completed on time and under budget. Best of all, the new apartments and facilities have already proven to be a worthy investment for the growing community.
The project was completed on time and under budget. Haskell delivered on every promise made, and in terms of its process, product and execution, I consider them the best of the best.
