Integrated teaming helps manage client’s complex scopes and phases.

Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) had outgrown their existing facilities when they hired Haskell to provide a complete solution to their needs. JMC's goals for the project were common to many hospitals: expand capacity, upgrade equipment, add new services and update infrastructure. Haskell resolved a variety of challenges prior to breaking ground on the initial pavilion addition, including strategic decisions like weighing the benefits of renovation versus expansion, and project phasing in a working clinical environment.

Evidence-based design drives new addition.

Increased quality care has led many of the design decisions in Jupiter Medical Center’s new tower. Rooms are designed same-handed to reduce the likelihood of medical errors. A central support core helps distribute support spaces which increases efficiency and reduces acoustic distractions for patients. The new kitchen will allow patients hospital-wide to order food on-demand, a key feature contributing to patient satisfaction.

One project constant: Haskell.

No project ever proceeds completely as expected. Amidst a project that has tested both client and design staff with the need to be flexible to change, Haskell has always been there providing project stability. Haskell possesses the leadership, vision and ultimate project accountability required for the client’s evolving project and team.
