Project Highlights:

• Construction management-at-risk engagement for the expansion and improvement of an existing 7.5 million gallon per day (MGD) wastewater treatment facility to public access reuse standards 
• Project improvements will allow the current effluent disposal system, which includes overland flow and discharge into a tributary of the Peace River, to be bypassed allowing the 1200-acre property to be used for other purposes
• Project components include chlorine contact chamber, effluent filters, decholrination/reaeration basin, chemical storage and pumping building, upgraded aeration basins, two electrical buildings, two 1000 kW generators, new blower building, site work, yard piping, stormwater system modifications, electrical and instrumentation
• Preconstruction services included constructability reviews, estimating, scheduling and value engineering resulting in $1.9 million in cost savings
• Shared Savings of $300,000 returned to client
