Scenario: In keeping with its mission, vision, and expansion, The Board of PVE requested assistance from HSLS in determining additional product needs on their campus.
Solution: HSLS determined through actuarial analysis and actual experience the need for additional assisted living suites to be added to the campus. HSLS, in conjunction with HASKELL, assisted the Board and residents in locating a suitable expansion site on campus and completing the design, development and financing for the $16M addition.
Outcome: HSLS and HASKELL created a free-standing 40-unit assisted living social model which adds a new dimension to the continuum of care, creating a more satisfying resident experience while contributing to the long term stability of the community. HSLS is also the manager.
