Scenario:  The Board of Directors for Air Force Retired Officers Community obtained a site in the suburbs of Northern Virginia for the sole purpose of creating a retirement community for retired military officers and high ranking diplomats and their spouses.  They turned to HSLS and HASKELL for services.   

Solution:  HSLS and HASKELL entered into an agreement with the Board for marketing and financial feasibility studies.  The rapid presales set the stage for an on-time construction start and completion.  The continued rapid fill-up of 319 independent living units and health center has made this CCRC a real success.  In the past few years, HASKELL was engaged to add an additional 44-unit assisted living community adjacent to Falcons Landing.  The community now offers a total of 90 assisted living and skilled nursing beds.

Outcome:  This Community has been named one of one of the best lifecare communities in the nation by “The 50 Best Retirement Communities in America”.   According to Lt. General, USAF Ret., Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors for Falcons Landing, “HSLS and HASKELL did an outstanding job for us.  Their selection was one of the smartest decisions we made.”
