Port of Miami Parking Garage

The Haskell Company provided complete design-build services for the delivery of a six-level parking garage at the Port of Miami. The garage will accommodate cruise terminal passengers and Port employees at Terminals 8, 9 and 11. The precast structure included four new elevators, a new transformer vault, future office shell space, parking controls, security systems, landscaping and irrigation. Haskell was also responsible for adjacent berth construction to increase the cruise ship docking capacity.

Maintenance of traffic, coordination with Port users, and passenger safety at the Port were a primary focus throughout construction. Haskell provided planning, permitting, design and construction for the 1,350-space structure.

This project was designated as one of Florida's 2002 Top Projects by Southeast Construction Magazine.
