Preston Haskell founded The Haskell Company in 1965. He was instrumental in the formation of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and served as its founding chairman. Preston is a frequent speaker on design-build delivery and the author of many articles on the subject.
Preston is extremely active in the community over a wide range of industry, cultural and charitable institutions. He serves on the Board for the American Society of Civil Engineers (CEFI); and is a member of the Florida Council of 100, the Healthcare and Bioscience Council (HCBSC) and the National Academy of Construction. Preston is an honors graduate of Princeton University with a BS in civil engineering and received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He also attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for graduate study in building engineering and construction.
