Don Evans is the former Vice-chairman of CH2MHill, a $5 billion global engineering firm. Don served as group CEO for the Global Civil Infrastructure Group, and was CEO of Operations Management International, a subsidiary engaged in facilities management. Don grew OMI to a business with a $1 billion backlog, winning the Malcolm Baldridge Quality award in 2000. He started CH2MHill’s design-build business in 1998 and grew it to nearly $1 billion in revenues by 2008. He grew CH2MHill’s water business from $150 million to $800 million; its civil infrastructure business from $500 million to $1.5 billion and its international business from $40 million to $600 million, starting six international offices in the process.
Don is a past chairman of DBIA, serves on the board of Amended Silicates, LLC and DL Evans Bank, a family business. Don holds a BSCE, MSCE and MBA from Stanford University.
