David A. Thaeler
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
David Thaeler is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Haskell. In his current role, David’s responsibility consists of leading Haskell’s overall human resources vision including the design and implementation of all human resources strategies, policies, and processes throughout the company. He has direct responsibility for global talent acquisition, staffing and retention, leadership development, diversity, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits along with employee relations. Additionally, he is responsible for Payroll and Administrative Services.
David has 20+ years of HR leadership experience in employee-centric companies including two Fortune 500 organizations. He has focused HR teams on developing and implementing strategies that drive business results, creates positive work environments and experiences as well as increased levels of employee engagement. David has extensive experience in the development of human resources consultancy models and HR Centers of Excellence, HR financial analysis management, workforce and performance management, employment branding and cultural engagement.
Prior to his current position, David served as SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer for a 5,700 employee, Georgia-based health system that was identified four years in a row as a Fortune 100 “Great Place to Work”. His other experience includes HR leadership roles in telecommunications, professional management services and the health products & services industries.
David holds a dual master’s degree in labor and human resources and public policy and management and a bachelor’s in business administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. David and his family live in Jacksonville, FL.
